The National Association of Friendship Centres, AGM

The AFCS team was blessed and thankful to attend the National Association of Friendship Centres Annual General Meeting, in Victoria, British Columbia.

The NAFC AGM was a wonderful event that held workshops, meetings, and an array of business and celebrations. We are reflecting on what it means to be part of something that has an impact on over a million urban Indigenous people in communities as big as Toronto, or as small as La Loche.

Congratulations Laurie Bouvier

Congratulations to our very own, Laurie Bouvier! Officially appointed the Treasurer of the Board, for the National Association of Friendship Centres. We are very proud!

The Honourable Patty Hajdu Q&A

The Q&A session with the Honourable Patty Hajdu, addressed key issues to the Friendship Centre Movement such as program renewal, youth programming, and the efforts made by Friendship Centres to meet the growing needs of their communities.
