Cultural Humility Training (Social Enterprise)

Cultural humility is a lifelong process of self-reflection to not only learn about another’s culture, but to start with an examination of your own beliefs and cultural identities. It is humbly acknowledging that you do not know all when it comes to understanding another’s experience. This work has been compiled into a 1 hour, 3 hour or 1 day training course with a focus on Saskatchewan-specific information. Friendship Centres across Saskatchewan will soon be able to offer Cultural Humility Training. Capacity will be built internally as staff receive training to offer this service, while funds generated through this enterprise will be put back into programming and Friendship Centre self-sustainability.
